Gili was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at Beersheba Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Gili is 38, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Beersheba Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $7,000 goes: • Scans and lab work: $1,250 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,000 • Transport to Beersheba Cancer Centre: $750 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Ido
