Gabriel is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Gabriel was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Tehuacán Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Gabriel is 43, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tehuacán Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Transport to Tehuacán Cancer Centre: $160
• Scans and lab work: $410
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,600
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $230

Is transport to Tehuacán Cancer Centre the biggest cost or is there more coming?
Transport to Tehuacán Cancer Centre is $160 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
