Franziska was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in January. The oncology team at Nuremberg University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Franziska is 31, worked as a primary school teacher until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nuremberg University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
