Standing with Federico: thyroid cancer treatment costs

Federico was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in November. The oncology team at Turin University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Federico is 34, worked as a bank teller until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Turin University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $6,850 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,900
• Scans and lab work: $1,200
• Transport to Turin University Hospital: $390
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $690
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,670
