Fabiana is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Fabiana was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in August. The oncology team at Curitiba Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Fabiana is 49, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Curitiba Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,650 goes: • Scans and lab work: $610 • Transport to Curitiba Cancer Centre: $320 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110 • Household costs while unable to work: $610 Thanks for reading all this.

    • good luck, Regina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
