Standing with Everly: kidney cancer treatment costs
Supporting Everly through kidney cancer: medication, transport to Joliet Regional Medical Center, and living costs while She can't work.
Anywhere in the world1,007 views
Everly was diagnosed with kidney cancer in June. The oncology team at Joliet Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Everly is 24, worked as a primary school teacher until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Joliet Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $11,800 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,700
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $8,750
• Transport to Joliet Regional Medical Center: $410
• Scans and lab work: $940
If you're reading this, thank you.

Wishing you peace, Aurora. Get well soon. Greetings from Çankaya.
What's already covered and what's the $11,800 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. household costs while unable to work comes first ($1,700) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
Wishing you peace. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Üsküdar so I could bring a meal. God bless
Thinking of you, Aurora. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Rooting for you. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
Wishing you peace, Aurora. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Joliet
