Standing with Eka: colon cancer treatment costs
Eka is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Eka was diagnosed with colon cancer in June. The oncology team at Bogor Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Eka is 48, worked as a shop owner until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bogor Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $200
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $670
• Household costs while unable to work: $230
