Standing with Derek: stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment costs
12 rounds of treatment are planned at the Greensboro Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Derek was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in March. The oncology team at the Greensboro Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Derek is 38, worked as a hairdresser until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Greensboro Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
