Standing with Dante: prostate cancer treatment costs
Dante is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Dante was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March. The oncology team at Quezon City Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Dante is 48, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Quezon City Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $190
• Transport to Quezon City Cancer Centre: $165
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $980
