Dana is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Dana was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July. The oncology team at Tel Aviv Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Dana is 42, worked as a taxi driver until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tel Aviv Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.         Sure. The biggest one is nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team, $390. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
