Standing with Chiara: a rare sarcoma treatment costs

Chiara was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in December. The oncology team at Turin Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Chiara is 47, worked as a bakery worker until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Turin Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
