Standing with Charalambos: acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment costs
4 rounds of treatment are planned at Thessaloniki Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Charalambos was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in January. The oncology team at Thessaloniki Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Charalambos is 27, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Thessaloniki Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $5,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,550
• Scans and lab work: $430
• Transport to Thessaloniki Cancer Centre: $340
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $280
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,100
Glad we found this place.
