Standing with Bo: cervical cancer treatment costs
Bo is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Bo was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at the Mississauga Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Bo is 51, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mississauga Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $600
