Standing with Bhavani: cervical cancer treatment costs

Bhavani was diagnosed with cervical cancer in November. The oncology team at Rohini University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Bhavani is 50, worked as a farmer until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Rohini University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
