Standing with Ashok: prostate cancer treatment costs

Ashok was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at Amritsar Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Ashok is 46, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Amritsar Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
