Standing with Arthit: thyroid cancer treatment costs

Arthit was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May. The oncology team at Khon Kaen Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Arthit is 43, worked as a bank teller until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Khon Kaen Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
