Angelo is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Angelo was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in March. The oncology team at Angeles Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Angelo is 35, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Angeles Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,350 goes: • Scans and lab work: $165 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $770 • Household costs while unable to work: $220 • Transport to Angeles Cancer Centre: $195 I hope life is good to you.
