Standing with Andrés: thyroid cancer treatment costs

Andrés was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Tarragona University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Andrés is 37, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tarragona University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $6,850 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,250
• Scans and lab work: $970
• Transport to Tarragona University Hospital: $510
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $530
• Household costs while unable to work: $590
