Anastasia was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June. The oncology team at the Odesa Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Anastasia is 55, worked as a primary school teacher until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Odesa Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,650
• Scans and lab work: $300
• Transport to the Odesa Oncology Institute: $115
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100
