Standing with Amber: multiple myeloma treatment costs

Amber was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at Newcastle Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Amber is 27, worked as a farmer until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Newcastle Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,150 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $840
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,800
• Transport to Newcastle Cancer Centre: $520
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,990
