Standing with Alexander: thyroid cancer treatment costs

Alexander was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in March. The oncology team at London University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Alexander is 39, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to London University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
