Standing with Aaron: acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment costs
Aaron is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Aaron was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August. The oncology team at Sydney University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Aaron is 30, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Sydney University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,750
• Scans and lab work: $1,250
• Transport to Sydney University Hospital: $1,100
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $790
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,410
