Standing with Aaron: a rare sarcoma treatment costs

Aaron was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in October. The oncology team at Hamilton Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Aaron is 51, worked as a farmer until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Hamilton Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $8,000
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,050
• Transport to Hamilton Cancer Centre: $850
