After a deviated septum causing chronic infections, Ake was cleared for spinal decompression surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Ake was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in April. The surgeon at Pattaya University Hospital recommended spinal decompression surgery, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $750, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $600 short.
my son has been in and out of Pattaya University Hospital since April. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ake struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Ake won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.

• Post-operative medication: $90
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $435

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. pre-operative tests and imaging comes first ($75) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
