Souad's final semester of a teaching qualification in Luxor
Souad is one term away from finishing a teaching qualification but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $700.

Souad is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Luxor Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has said Souad can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Souad has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Souad would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Souad isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $700 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $270
• Final term tuition: $360
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $35
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

praying for you, Ghada. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 13 people at work. Thinking of Luxor.
Best of luck, Ghada. Shared this with my family. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Paarl!
Take care, Ghada. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Incheon but we're thinking of you.
