Soledad's laparoscopic cyst removal can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled laparoscopic cyst removal in July is out of reach without help covering $4,850 of the cost.

Soledad was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in April. The surgeon at Saint Anne Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and She is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,750, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $4,850 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Saint Anne Hospital since April. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Soledad struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Soledad won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $2,800
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $1,300
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $230
• Post-operative medication: $180
• Physiotherapy sessions: $190
• Travel and lodging for the family: $150

Sure. The biggest one is surgeon and anesthesia fees, $2,800. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
