After years of caregiving, I've struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. My doctor has referred me to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Vancouver Counselling Collective cost $95 each.
I have been honest with my employer and taken some time off, but I can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions I could afford. My therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and I know that consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part, and I'm grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• 16 therapy sessions: $1,200
• Psychiatric assessment: $460
• Workbook and resources: $40
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thinking of you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Hanoi donated after I showed her your page. Love from Hanoi.
