Sofia's final semester of a diploma in hospitality management in Kyiv

Sofia is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Kyiv State College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950. The registrar has said Sofia can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sofia has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sofia would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Sofia isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kyiv State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $950 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $220 • Final term tuition: $670 • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $15 Thanks for reading all this.
