Sneha needs a prosthetic leg - help us make it happen
A prosthetic leg would give Sneha independence - we are $700 away.
🇮🇳 India628 views
Sneha lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Mumbai Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Sneha could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $700 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $560
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $70
Thanks for being kind about this.

everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Mumbai
thanks for sharing this, Ramesh. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Ogbomosho!
