Smit's stomach cancer treatment fund

Smit was diagnosed with stomach cancer in May. The oncology team at Coimbatore Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Smit is 31, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Coimbatore Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
