Skylar's a rare sarcoma treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at San Francisco University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Skylar was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in January. The oncology team at San Francisco University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Skylar is 32, worked as a bakery worker until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Francisco University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,700 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Transport to San Francisco University Hospital: $560
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,250
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,540
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Take care, Lucy. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
What's already covered and what's the $10,700 for?
Sure. The biggest one is scans and lab work, $1,350. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Appreciate you taking the time.
