Sita needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
A laundry service in Mumbai needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after the demolition of the market.

For four years I have run a laundry service in Mumbai. In June, the demolition of the market took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $260
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $115
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $60
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

So sorry you're going through this, Sita. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes
wishing you peace, Sita. Hope you make a strong comeback. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
hope the shop reopens soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Hope it all works out, Sita. Your post was clear and honest. I hope September is when things finally get easier. Love from Pune
everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 27 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
