I make my living with my delivery van. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $350 goes: • Labor charges: $50 • Towing and inspection: $40 • clutch assembly replacement (parts): $260 With deep gratitude, Sipho

Updates from Sipho

Good news. Because of your gifts ($163 in total) I made the first payment toward clutch assembly replacement. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Small update. $293 so far, the first invoice got paid this week.
Update from Pretoria: I made the first payment toward labor charges. We're at 110% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
