Simon starts a job in a neighboring city: travel help wanted
A ride and a few boxes: that's all that stands between Simon and a new job.

I have been offered a job in a neighboring city, starting on Saturday in September. I can't afford the bus and the 3 boxes I need to carry with me, and moving costs are beyond my means.
If you or someone you know is driving between Dortmund and a neighboring city, I'd love to share the journey, and I can cover fuel. If you have a van and a free day, even better.
I'm a good conversationalist but happy to be quiet. I have a reference from my last employer and from the person I'll be renting from in a neighboring city.
Glad we found this place.

- one-way trip

Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best!
