Shinji's cervical cancer treatment fund
6 rounds of treatment are planned at Fukuoka Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

In August I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. My oncology team at Fukuoka Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in December. I was told to expect about 6 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 31, I worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Fukuoka Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $440
• Scans and lab work: $440
• Transport to Fukuoka Regional Medical Center: $670

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Shinji.
Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team is $440 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
