Shilpa's final semester of a degree in social work in Varanasi
Shilpa has worked and saved for three years to study a degree in social work; a $500 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Shilpa is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at Varanasi State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500.
The registrar has said Shilpa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Shilpa has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Shilpa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Shilpa isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $500 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $45
• Final term tuition: $410
I hope life is good to you.
