Shawn needs an adapted tricycle - help us make it happen
Shawn needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $7,200.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at Los Angeles General Hospital has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,200.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $7,200 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $195
• adapted tricycle: $6,750
• Delivery and set-up: $255
Every share and every dollar helps.

Praying for you, Shawn. Looking forward to the next update. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
