Sharmila's stage 2 breast cancer treatment fund

Sharmila was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July. The oncology team at Dhaka Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Sharmila is 54, worked as a farmer until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dhaka Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
