Shahid's Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
Shahid is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In July I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. My oncology team at Lahore University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 8 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 51, I worked as a farmer until July, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Lahore University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $300 goes:
• Transport to Lahore University Hospital: $80
• Scans and lab work: $90
• Household costs while unable to work: $130
