Sevgi needs a pair of hearing aids that the health system will not fund; the cost is $5,500.

Sevgi lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Cologne Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,500.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Sevgi could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• First-year servicing plan: $280
• Fitting and training sessions: $220
