Sergei received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
The loss of a second income left Sergei short on rent for 4 months; help us stay in our home.

When the textile factory closed in August, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,300.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $890
• Late fees and court costs: $60
• Utilities in arrears: $100
• First month of rent as a buffer: $250
With deep gratitude,
Sergei

is there anything that isn't money that would help Sergei?
Thank you. If you're in Yekaterinburg I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Ask me anything else.
Sending strength, Sergei. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
