Serenity's emergency hernia repair can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Serenity was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in August. The surgeon at Arlington Regional Medical Center recommended emergency hernia repair, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $5,950 short.
my sister has been in and out of Arlington Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Serenity struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Serenity won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
