Serenity's ACL reconstruction can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Serenity was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in August. The surgeon at Bristol Regional Medical Center recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $10,750, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $7,450 short.
my mother has been in and out of Bristol Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $10,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Serenity struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Serenity won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
