Septoplasty for Winda: covering what insurance won't
After gallstones with repeated infections, Winda was cleared for septoplasty, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Winda was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in April. The surgeon at Jakarta Selatan Community Hospital recommended septoplasty, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $530, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $400 short.
my mother has been in and out of Jakarta Selatan Community Hospital since April. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $530 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Winda struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Winda won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
