A scheduled septoplasty in October is out of reach without help covering $1,200 of the cost.

Corazon was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in August. The surgeon at Saint Anne Hospital recommended septoplasty, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,400, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,200 short. my wife has been in and out of Saint Anne Hospital since August. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,400 is more than we can find. While we wait, Corazon struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Corazon won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing. The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did. Where the $1,200 goes: • Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $370 • Hospital stay (3 nights): $570 • Pre-operative tests and imaging: $55 • Post-operative medication: $75 • Physiotherapy sessions: $80 • Travel and lodging for the family: $50 I hope life is good to you. - Gerald

  • hope the doctors have good news. We're a small family in Kediri but we're thinking of you. Blessings.

    • Wishing you peace. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Please keep us posted.

      • Hope things get better soon, Gerald. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
