Segun's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Segun won a place at Awka International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Segun earned a place in Grade 9 at Awka International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Segun loves biology and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $75
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15

Hope things get better soon, Yinka. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings
hang in there. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Please keep us posted.
