School supplies and a laptop for Sota in Kyoto
Sota earned a place in Year 11 at Kyoto Girls' High School; we're $750 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Kyoto Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $750, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $750 goes:
• Laptop: $540
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $50
• Textbooks and workbooks: $160
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Sota
Thank you all. We're at 17% now ($125). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for textbooks and workbooks is now scheduled.
Quick update: $30 raised so far (4%). I made the first payment toward laptop. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

good luck, Sota. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Good luck, Sota. Study hard! Blessings.
keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Cox's Bazar!
Rooting for you, Sota. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
