I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Kilkenny Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $850, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a doctor. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $850 goes:
• Laptop: $480
• School uniform and shoes: $100
• Textbooks and workbooks: $200
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $70
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
