School supplies and a laptop for Shawn in Los Angeles
Shawn won a place at Los Angeles Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States164 views
Shawn earned a place in Year 11 at Los Angeles Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $450, which is more than they have.
Shawn loves mathematics and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $450 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $150
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $60
• Textbooks and workbooks: $240

Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Los Angeles.
shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Manchester so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Saket.
Hang in there, Anna. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
