School supplies and a laptop for Shakil in Dhaka
Shakil earned a place in the first year of senior school at Dhaka Girls' High School; we're $100 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Dhaka Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $100, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $100 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
• Laptop: $65
Thank you so much.

Updates from Shakil
Good news. Because of your gifts ($90 in total) I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Sending good thoughts, Shakil. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Girona but we're thinking of you. Love from Girona.
best of luck. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Put this on a community board in São Paulo this morning. Blessings
